OnePlus 16 Leak Hints at Massive 9,000mAh Battery, 200MP Camera Upgrade

Image
OnePlus only just launched its flagship OnePlus 15 in October, but the rumor mill is already buzzing about what’s next. A fresh leak has now shed light on one of the most eye-catching upgrades expected for its successor — the battery. According to a tipster, the upcoming OnePlus 16 will pack a massive 9,000mAh battery. That’s a notable jump from the OnePlus 15, which comes with a 7,300mAh cell paired with blazing-fast 120W charging. The claim doesn’t come out of nowhere either. Earlier this month, OnePlus rolled out the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V, both featuring 9,000mAh batteries with 80W fast charging. With that precedent set, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the OnePlus 16 adopt the same high-capacity power setup. The OnePlus 16 is tipped to debut in China this October and could push boundaries in other areas too, with rumors pointing to a 200MP main camera and the highest refresh-rate display ever fitted to a smartphone. If these leaks hold true, OnePlus’s next flagship could be shaping ...

Hot on the heels of the OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V launch in China, fresh leaks suggest the brand is already testing another smartphone packing a massive 9,000mAh battery — or possibly even more. Renowned tipster Digital Chat Station claims a high-performance handset powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 chipset is currently in the works. While the device hasn’t been named, it’s widely believed to be the rumored OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra. According to the leak, the phone will sport a flat 6.78-inch LTPS display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and a super-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. Security is handled by a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, while endurance should be a major highlight thanks to that enormous battery. The tipster also hints at bespoke performance tuning and a handful of standout features designed to set this model apart from other OnePlus offerings. With testing underway, more concrete details about this mystery ...

OnePlus 15 Hits the US With 7,300mAh Battery and Free Watch or Buds

OnePlus has finally kicked off US preorders for the flagship OnePlus 15 — nearly a month after its debut. The delay came down to pending FCC approval, which was pushed back during the government shutdown. The OnePlus 15 starts at $899.99 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while an extra $100 upgrades you to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.  Preorders also come with a free gift — either the 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 or Buds 3 Pro earbuds. Powered by a massive 7,300mAh battery, the OnePlus 15 promises up to two days of use — all while keeping a normal-sized footprint. The secret is its silicon-carbon battery tech, something almost no other major US brand has embraced yet. Even though preorders are live, OnePlus says the first units won’t ship for another 12 days. The OnePlus 15 will also be available through Amazon and Best Buy once sales fully open. These preorders land just ahead of the OnePlus 15R’s debut on December 17th. The upcoming model will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen ...
