Samsung Preps 25W Qi2 Charger Ahead of Galaxy S26 Launch

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is set to arrive next year, and rumors say it’s finally getting a boost in wireless charging speeds.

To keep up, Samsung is reportedly cooking up a brand-new fast wireless charger to pair with it.

While Samsung’s Qi2 charger is limited to 15W, the new EP-P2900 is gearing up to deliver a much faster 25W wireless charging boost.

Retail data reveals a dark gray design for the charger, along with broad support for Galaxy S and Galaxy Z phones—and even Galaxy Buds.

Previous reports hint that Samsung is giving the Galaxy S26 Ultra 25W wireless charging, with the Galaxy S26 and S26+ settling in at 20W.

When it comes to wired charging, the latest reports claim the Galaxy S26 Ultra will reach 60W, while the S26 and S26+ models reportedly settle at 25W and 45W.
