Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leak Reveals Launch Window and Major Camera Redesign
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is reportedly gearing up for its China debut later this month, with fresh leaks hinting at a launch window in the fourth week of December.
As anticipation builds, newly surfaced details are giving us an early peek at the flagship’s upgraded camera setup.
Someone familiar with the matter claims the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will debut a new Leica lens coating designed to deliver clearer images, cut down on reflections, and reduce chromatic aberration.
Recent leaks hint that the upcoming Ultra phone may arrive with a triple rear-camera setup.
Interestingly, this marks a shift from the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which featured a quad-camera array complete with dual telephoto lenses.
In contrast, the new 17 Ultra is expected to scale back to a single telephoto sensor.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is shaping up to be a powerhouse, reportedly running on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
It’s also expected to bring a beefy battery, a crisp flat display, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, satellite connectivity, and a host of other upgrades.
