Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy A37, A57 Leak Reveals Camera Upgrades

Image
Samsung’s next A-series refresh could be just around the corner. The Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 are expected to debut in February 2026, packing newer chipsets and camera upgrades, with a new leak now shedding light on exactly what those cameras might offer. According to the report, the Galaxy A37 will sport a triple rear camera system led by an upgraded 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor, though Samsung is expected to switch between the IMX906 and its in-house S5KGNJ sensor depending on the market. Beyond the main camera, the Galaxy A37 is said to reuse the Galaxy A36’s supporting sensors — an 8MP GalaxyCore GC08A3 ultrawide and a 5MP GalaxyCore GC05A3 macro. Selfie duties could be handled by a 12MP GalaxyCore GC12A2 front-facing camera. Samsung is reportedly planning a 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor for the Galaxy A57’s main rear camera, though certain regions may instead get the ISOCELL S5KGNJ. The rest of the setup is said to include a 13MP ISOCELL S5K3L6 ultrawide camera and a 5MP GalaxyCore GC0...

Samsung’s Galaxy Z TriFold Sells Out in Minutes Despite Its $2,428 Price Tag

Image
Samsung’s brand-new Galaxy Z TriFold hit shelves in South Korea today, and the $2,428 foldable didn’t stick around for long. Despite its premium price and first-gen status, the device sold out within minutes, with fans lining up outside Samsung stores for a chance to grab the futuristic tri-fold phone. While Samsung remains tight-lipped about exact sales figures, interested buyers can now register for a restock notification on the brand’s Korean website, ensuring they’re alerted the moment the Galaxy Z TriFold goes back on sale. Samsung is keeping things simple with the Galaxy Z TriFold — a single 16GB/512GB model in Crafted Black. Global expansion is on the way, with launches planned in China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE, and the US. The catch? Samsung hasn’t shared release dates yet.

Is Motorola Finally Entering the Big-Foldable Arena? All Signs Point to Yes

Image
Motorola’s latest teaser points to a big foldable debut — one that seems ready to square up against the Galaxy Z Fold 7. In a creative twist, the Lenovo-owned company is sending journalists wooden flip books that expand into book-shaped lamps, complete with a red-lit interior. The way this invite opens is already a strong clue, backed up by the slogan “every fold reveals a possibility.” But Motorola goes even further with the line: “We’re getting ready to unfold new perspectives at Lenovo Tech World.” If this isn’t a clear sign that Motorola is preparing a new type of foldable, it’s hard to imagine what would be. And we’d say it’s long overdue. Up to now, Motorola’s strongest challenge to Samsung has been in the flip-phone category, especially with the Razr 60 Ultra. For years, we’ve been waiting for Motorola to take on the book-style foldable category. Its rich materials and unusually curvy designs have already carved out a distinct place in the foldable world. Looks aside, the Razr h...

vivo V70 India Launch Looms as BIS Certification Drops

Image
The next V-series upgrade is on the horizon. vivo’s V70, set to succeed the V60 from August, has now surfaced on India’s BIS listings. With the lineup refreshing every six months, following the V50’s February debut, its early certification feels right on schedule. No specs were disclosed, which is typical for this type of listing. Still, the V2538’s appearance makes one thing clear: the upcoming V70 is on its way to the pivotal Indian market. The listings hint at more than just the V70’s arrival. A second model, V2545, was certified as well, and it’s likely the upcoming T5x — the successor to the T4x released earlier this year. The V70’s internals include the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and 8GB of RAM, with software handled by Android 16 and OriginOS 6. Early reports indicate it may just be a rebranded S50, which is going official in China next week. Assuming the S50 and V70 are one and the same, the V70 should bring a 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, a triple 50MP rear setup with 3x zoom, a 50MP selfi...

Pre-orders close on December 18. UAE pricing kicks off at AED 3,999 ($1,090) for the 12GB/512GB Magic8 Pro, rising to AED 4,699 ($1,280) for the 16GB/1TB trim. Under the hood, the Honor Magic8 Pro packs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and sports a 6.71-inch LTPO quad-curved display. Poco M8 Pro Gears Up for Debut With 100W Charging and Global Reach

Image
Poco isn’t slowing down. Fresh off the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro launch, the brand already has its next move lined up — the M8 Pro is gearing up for debut, with the FCC spilling some of its key specs ahead of time. Under the hood, the Poco M8 Pro boasts a 6,330 mAh battery (likely labeled as 6,500 mAh typical) with 100W charging support. For connectivity, you’re getting Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, Bluetooth, and NFC. On the downside, the M8 Pro might debut with HyperOS 2 on top of Android 15 — not exactly cutting-edge software. Storage options include 8/256GB, 12/256GB, and a roomier 12/512GB variant. Having passed through both TDRA in the UAE and IMDA in Singapore, the M8 Pro is shaping up to be a true global release. And with certifications piling up, its announcement seems just around the corner.

vivo Might Revive the X200 Line With a Dimensity 9400 Twist

Image
A fresh rumor suggests vivo is developing a device called the X200T — an unexpected naming twist, said to merge the best of the X200 and X200 FE. The phone is reportedly set to debut in India by late January — a curious move, given that the X300 and X300 Pro only just hit the shelves.  Dropping a new X200-series device now could make it feel outdated on arrival. Size-wise, the X200T is tipped to match the 6.31-inch X200 FE, yet it may borrow its power from the X200. That “performance DNA” hint strongly suggests a Dimensity 9400. Leaked details hint at a Zeiss-backed triple camera system, 90W charging, and a beefy battery similar to the X200 FE’s 6,500 mAh.  Honestly, it currently looks like vivo is re-spinning the X200 FE but swapping in a faster chipset. More info as soon as we have it. Source

Samsung Supplying 11M Panels for Apple’s Foldable iPhone, Leak Claims

Image
Apple is gearing up big for its first foldable iPhone — a new report claims the company has ordered a massive 11 million OLED panels from Samsung, signaling a serious push into the foldable market. Jukan05’s post on X suggests both Apple and Samsung are betting big on Apple’s upcoming foldable. Apple is said to be sourcing 11 million OLED panels from Samsung Display, signaling an entry into the segment that exceeds earlier industry predictions. Jukan05 suggests Apple is gearing up to ship roughly 10 million foldable iPhones, noting that manufacturers typically order more panels than the number of devices they ultimately produce. This projected volume hints at Apple’s expectation of capturing a strong share of a foldable market that only reaches about 20 million units per year. The report notes that Apple’s foldable will open like a book, with a 7.58-inch inner display and a 5.35-inch outer one. Sources say Apple may improve the notorious crease through new display technologies, includi...

Oppo’s Reno 15c Is Coming — China Telecom Leak Leaves Nothing to the Imagination

Image
Oppo has officially confirmed that the Reno 15c will debut in China later this month, even though its specs remain a mystery. The device was first teased during last month’s Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro launch event. Before Oppo could make it official, the Reno 15c has already appeared on China Telecom’s database — spilling its core specs, RAM and storage variants, and all available color options. According to the listing, the Reno 15c is set to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 (SM7750), paired with either 12GB/256GB or 12GB/512GB configurations. A 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel headlines the front of the Reno 15c, potentially offering buttery 120Hz visuals. The listing also points to Android 16-based ColorOS 16 running onboard. Camera-wise, the Reno 15c packs a 50MP front camera, and on the back, a trio made up of a 50MP primary, a 50MP telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide. The listing confirms that Oppo will offer the Reno 15c in Aurora Blue, Academy Blue, and Starlight Bow finishes. Source

Google Pixel 10a Leak Confirms 120Hz Display, 48MP Camera — and Few Surprises Inside

Image
A Verizon certification leaked by Evan Blass has given us a clearer picture of the upcoming Google Pixel 10a, slated for early 2026. We already knew it would mirror the previous model on the outside — and now it’s confirmed the internals won’t be changing much either. The Pixel 10a packs a compact 6.28-inch AMOLED display boasting FHD+ clarity and 120Hz fluidity. A 13MP punch-hole selfie camera handles front duties, and the back once again features a 48MP main sensor (f/1.7) joined by a 13MP ultrawide (f/2.2). We also get confirmation of 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a sizable 5,100mAh battery, which is expected to keep the same 23W charging rate.  The chipset isn’t mentioned, though earlier rumors hint that Google may once again use the Tensor G4 found in the Pixel 9a. Realme Confirms 16 Pro Launch for India After Weeks of Hype

Image
After a month of teasers and rumors, Realme has confirmed what fans have been waiting for: the Realme 16 Pro series is headed to India soon. The company kept the lineup vague, but expectations are clear — the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ will almost certainly headline the launch. Specs remain under wraps, though Realme says the 16 Pro lineup is designed to push the brand deeper into the premium mid-range segment.

Samsung Cancels Galaxy S26 Camera Upgrade as Apple Forces a Rethink

Image
Samsung isn’t shaking up the camera formula just yet. The Galaxy S25 launched in January with the same triple-camera setup as the S24 — which itself mirrored the S23. And according to a new report from South Korea’s The Elec, the upcoming Galaxy S26 is set to continue that streak with the very same camera modules. In other words, expect the familiar trio: a 50MP main sensor (1/1.56”), a 10MP 3x telephoto (1/3.94"), and a 12MP ultrawide (1/2.55"). But interestingly, this wasn’t Samsung’s original roadmap. The Elec reports that Samsung initially planned a sensor upgrade for the Galaxy S26 — paired with a higher starting price — until Apple’s iPhone 17 launch forced a rethink. The ripple effect doesn’t end there. Samsung now reportedly has to redesign the vanilla Galaxy S26’s internal layout, pushing back its production schedule. For comparison, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is slated to hit mass production this month, while the S26 and S26+ won’t begin manufacturing until early 2026.

iPhone 16 Tops Q3 Charts as Apple Sweeps Global Best-Seller List

Image
Apple ruled the global best-seller charts in Q3 — and surprisingly, it wasn’t the flashy new iPhone 17 lineup leading the charge. Counterpoint Research reports that the iPhone 16 claimed the crown as the world’s top-selling smartphone from July to September, grabbing a solid 4% of all shipments. Festive promos in India gave the iPhone 16 a major boost, while Japan also saw the model regain some momentum. The momentum didn’t stop with the base iPhone 16. The 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, and 16e locked in the next three positions, mirroring last year when the iPhone 15 trio topped the charts. Only Samsung managed to join Apple in the top ten. Its Galaxy A16 5G and Galaxy A06 secured fifth and sixth place, while the mid-tier Galaxy A36 and A56 rounded out the seventh and eighth spots. Taking ninth was the Galaxy A16, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max rounded out the rankings in tenth, even with its constrained, late-September rollout. Source

Narzo 90 & 90x Specs Drop Ahead of Launch — Big Batteries, Bigger Brightness

Image
Ahead of its December 16 debut, Realme has dropped the key hardware details of the Narzo 90 series. Realme’s Narzo 90x is shaping up strong with a huge 7,000mAh battery, 60W fast charging, and a 144Hz display capable of 1,200 nits. A 50MP Sony primary camera headlines the rear setup, while Realme promises up to 23.6 hours of online video on one charge. The device also adds AI Eraser and AI Ultra Clarity to the mix. A big battery is on the menu for the Narzo 90 as well, with Realme confirming a 7,000mAh cell and 60W wired charging. The phone steps it up with a blazing 4,000-nit display, triple IP66/68/69 protection, and dual 50MP rear cameras. Realme also claims it can stream online video for 24 hours on a single charge. The Realme Narzo 90 lineup will officially debut in India on December 16, and buyers can grab the phones on Amazon India or through Realme’s online store.

Realme 16 Series Tipped for January 6 Launch as Pro+ Box Surfaces in China

Image
The Realme 16 lineup is tipped to launch on January 6, and a new leak out of China just revealed the retail box for the top-tier Realme 16 Pro+. The leaker behind the box photo claims the Realme 16 Pro+ will feature a periscope telephoto camera—excellent news for anyone hoping for serious zoom power. The Realme 14 Pro+ offered this feature, but the 15 Pro skipped it entirely (since there was no 15 Pro+). Now it’s making a comeback—and it wouldn’t be shocking if the 16 Pro+ lands at a higher price because of it. There are still no leaked specs for the Realme 16 Pro+, but buzz in China suggests the Realme 15 series sold poorly—pushing Realme to rush out its successor. Source

OnePlus 15 Hits the US With 7,300mAh Battery and Free Watch or Buds

Image
OnePlus has finally kicked off US preorders for the flagship OnePlus 15 — nearly a month after its debut. The delay came down to pending FCC approval, which was pushed back during the government shutdown. The OnePlus 15 starts at $899.99 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while an extra $100 upgrades you to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.  Preorders also come with a free gift — either the 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 or Buds 3 Pro earbuds. Powered by a massive 7,300mAh battery, the OnePlus 15 promises up to two days of use — all while keeping a normal-sized footprint. The secret is its silicon-carbon battery tech, something almost no other major US brand has embraced yet. Even though preorders are live, OnePlus says the first units won’t ship for another 12 days. The OnePlus 15 will also be available through Amazon and Best Buy once sales fully open. These preorders land just ahead of the OnePlus 15R’s debut on December 17th. The upcoming model will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen ...

Samsung Preps 25W Qi2 Charger Ahead of Galaxy S26 Launch

Image
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is set to arrive next year, and rumors say it’s finally getting a boost in wireless charging speeds. To keep up, Samsung is reportedly cooking up a brand-new fast wireless charger to pair with it. While Samsung’s Qi2 charger is limited to 15W, the new EP-P2900 is gearing up to deliver a much faster 25W wireless charging boost. Retail data reveals a dark gray design for the charger, along with broad support for Galaxy S and Galaxy Z phones—and even Galaxy Buds. Previous reports hint that Samsung is giving the Galaxy S26 Ultra 25W wireless charging, with the Galaxy S26 and S26+ settling in at 20W. When it comes to wired charging, the latest reports claim the Galaxy S26 Ultra will reach 60W, while the S26 and S26+ models reportedly settle at 25W and 45W.

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Gets Its First Unboxing

Image
Samsung has just dropped the official unboxing video for its brand-new Galaxy Z TriFold — the company’s first-ever tri-folding smartphone. For now, this futuristic device is exclusive to the Korean market. In the video, Samsung walks viewers through the phone and a noticeably richer spread of box contents—definitely more than what usually comes with a Galaxy flagship. Of course, with a foldable priced around $2,500, the added extras hardly come as a shock. Samsung includes a 45W charger and a USB-C to USB-C cable with the Galaxy Z TriFold, plus a Carbon Shield Case, SIM ejector tool, and the usual paperwork. The video even teases a Carbon Standing Case—though that one’s an extra purchase. The video offers a complete tour of the Galaxy Z TriFold from every angle. When unfolded, you get a sprawling 10-inch flexible display, and on the outside, a 6.5-inch cover screen treated with an anti-reflective coating. Samsung will begin selling the Galaxy Z TriFold in Korea on December 12, be...

Apple to Reject India's Cyber Safety App, Sparking Privacy Concerns and Backlash

Image
Yesterday, news broke that the Indian government is pushing smartphone makers to preload a state-backed cyber safety app, Sanchar Saathi , on every new device sold. The app’s mission? To track stolen phones, block their use, and ensure they don’t end up in the wrong hands. Companies are reportedly given 90 days to comply, but according to a Reuters report, Apple isn’t playing along. The tech giant is said to have plans to reject the order to preload the app onto its iPhones. Apple is expected to tell the Indian government that it doesn’t comply with such orders anywhere, citing concerns over privacy and security within its iOS ecosystem. According to two industry sources familiar with the matter, this stance is rooted in the potential risks posed to its platform. The app has sparked significant backlash in India, prompting the country’s telecom minister to defend it as a “voluntary and democratic” system. He reassured users that they could deactivate it or "easily delete it at any...

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Owners Get One-Time 50% Display Repair Discount, But Key Details Remain Unclear

Image
Breakthroughs in engineering, design, and materials have made today’s Samsung foldable phones far tougher than their earlier versions.  However, the lingering fear of potential damage and sky-high repair costs still holds many back from taking the plunge into the world of foldables, even if they’re eager to give them a try. It's a psychological hurdle, no doubt, and Samsung seems to recognize it. With the Galaxy Z TriFold now officially launched, the company is stepping up to ease potential buyers' concerns by offering an exclusive display repair perk, giving them that extra nudge to commit to the groundbreaking device.  The 10-inch foldable display on the Galaxy Z TriFold is likely Samsung's priciest yet. And for any TriFold owner, the last thing they'd want is to face the nightmare of replacing it. But if anything does happen to that foldable panel, Samsung has you covered—every Galaxy Z TriFold owner gets a one-time display repair at half the price. However, Samsung...
